Palacios 'Oreados' Mini Chorizos

Palacios chorizo sausage is aged in the beautiful wine region of La Rioja. These links of all-natural chorizo have a softer bite than other Palacios sausages which makes them great for cooking in wine or paella. They are seasoned with sweet smoked Spanish paprika - Pimentón de la Vera.

These chorizos are fully dry-cured and ready to eat with your favorite cheese and wine, or a chunk of crusty bread. Each package contains 4 links, each about 3 inches long.

Animal welfare is important to our family-owned company. Palacios chorizo is made from humanely raised pork, certified by Bienestar Animal Welfare Spain.

Can I eat cured sausage straight from the package?

Yes! Cured sausage is ready to eat—slice and enjoy, no cooking required.

How should I store cured whole sausages?

They can be kept at room temperature for several days, unless the package advises otherwise. For longer storage, refrigerate the sausage to maintain quality and safety.

What is the best way to serve cured sausage?

Should I remove the casing before eating?

It depends—check the package instructions. Some casings are edible, while others should be removed before consumption.

How do I store leftovers?

Wrap leftovers tightly with plastic. Store in the refrigerator and consume within up to 1 week.

What are the small white crystals on cured sausage?

These are amino acid crystals, typically tyrosine. They naturally form during aging and are completely safe to eat.

What if I see white mold on the outside?

Harmless white mold may appear on the exterior of cured meats. You can wipe it off using a cloth and some olive oil.

When should cured sausage be discarded?

Do not consume sausage if you notice green or black mold or an unpleasant or sour smell.

How are perishable items shipped?
