We used this to make paella on the beach in Maine last summer. Extremely portable, easy to assemble and sturdy enough. It is no real heavy duty but with care should last a good long time. One caveat.:with a lot of wind it has trouble maintaining heat so be prepared to have some kind of wind break. Also uses it to cook bacon and to caramelize onions(in bacon fat!!). Love it.

I was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough, but it's very strong. Lots of jets get the pan evenly hot. The wind screen probably would help. Very satisfied.

I have been looking for a paella burner for a while and this one looked the best to me. So far I am very pleased with this product. I have not actually cooked on this yet but I have it ready to go and it looks beautiful, nice and sturdy, it is a great quality and I am looking forward to my first paella party.

I ordered this item for a special event and the first one shipped had a faulty regulator. A simple phone call to La Tienda and a replacement was rapidly shipped. Since getting the replacement I've used the burner twice with excellent results. The paella cooked beautifully and the burner was a focal point for our guests (a great place to gather with glasses of Sangria). I could not be more pleased -- with the burner or with a company. Sometimes it takes a \"hiccup\" to determine the true quality of a vendor. The product is great and so is La Tienda.

This burner is wonderful; top quality and perfect blue flames, giving an even heat distribution across the entire (22\") Paella pan. With separate controls for the inner and outer burner rings, it will be possible to use with my smaller pans, making it quite versatile, and much better than cooking on my stove. Thanks, La Tienda, for offering such a great product!
