The confectioners at Torrons Vicens blend freshly roasted almonds and honey to make these classic treats, just as they have since 1775. Three classics are featured in this Barcelona gift box. Vicens makes each bar of turrón by hand, much as they have for centuries. Torrons Vicens is based in the small village of Agramunt in Catalonia, not far from Barcelona. Agramunt turrón is such high quality that it has protected status (PGI) to ensure preservation of the local traditions. 

In 2016, Angel Velasco, the master turrón maker at Vicens, was awarded the title of “Best Pastry Chef in the World” at the prestigious Madrid Fusion food show.
