This amazing sampler of juicy, tender Ibérico grilling pork steaks and sausages will take you to hog heaven. Cook these flavorful beauties on your grill or cast iron skillet for a pork feast of epic proportions.
Start with four cuts of premium Ibérico de Bellota acorn-fed grilling pork. The key is that these Ibérico pigs feast on acorns in the fall (bellota means acorn in Spanish), adding a richness and complexity to the pork. Our bellota grade pork is the finest on the market – if it isn’t called bellota, it is not the same.
Next, our all natural artisan sausages are enticingly juicy and full of flavor. Made with pasture raised Ibérico pork, the chorizo is seasoned with smoky paprika, while the butifarra white sausage is flavored with black pepper and garlic.
The pork steaks include:
Presa Ibérica de Bellota - Pork Shoulder Steak (18-24 oz): This thick cut of tender, marbled pork is nicknamed "the other red meat." Season with salt and pepper and grill to medium rare for tender slices.
Solomillo Ibérico de Bellota - Pork Tenderloin (8-12 oz): This is what a tenderloin is supposed to taste like! Lean, with a tender bite and complex flavor that puts all other tenderloins to shame. Cook medium rare.
Pluma Ibérico de Bellota – Pork Loin Steak (13-19 oz): This cut is intensely marbled for a full flavor and a tender bite. We think it tastes like a cross between a steak and a slab of bacon.
Secreto Ibérico de Bellota - Pork Flank Steak (19-27 oz): Thin and meltingly tender, this beautifully marbled pork is the juiciest, most flavorful cut we have ever tried.
We source only pasture raised 100% Ibérico pork from our friends at Montaraz. The noble Spanish Ibérico breed wanders the 'dehesa' forests of southwest Spain, feasting on wild herbs and grasses their whole lives, creating an intensely flavorful and complex pork. The finest grade is called Ibérico de Bellota, which come from pigs that eat piles of sweet acorns (bellotas) in the fall.
Each item in this sampler will arrive frozen and vacuum sealed. Thaw in the refrigerator and bring to room temperature before cooking. The USDA recommends cooking all whole cuts of meat (including pork) to 145°F as measured with a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the meat.
These products do not come packed in a gift box and will not be packed separately from other products in your order.
