Description
Description
This colorful porrón wine pitcher is a fun way to serve wine or sangría. Simply lift the porrón high in the air and pour a thin stream of wine directly into your mouth! It's fun at a party to see how well you and your friends master the technique. It is also a lovely decorative piece for kitchens and dining rooms.
This wine porrón is hand-thrown in El Puente del Arzobispo. Each one is hand-painted with a colorful traditional pattern. No two pitchers have exactly the same pattern, so your porrón may differ from the ones shown in the photo.
Porrones have been used across Spain for centuries. They replaced the ancient bota wineskins as everyday wine containers.
This versatile pitcher can be used to serve any drink, from sangría to margaritas. Each porrón holds about 1 liter, well over a bottle of wine.
