Mixed Salad Platter - 11 Inch

What a beautiful work of art this is -- and a perfect wall decoration. The Spaniards use it to serve a crisp garden salad, ensalada mixta. We often prepare salads on this plate with fresh tomatoes, sweet onions and cucumbers, on a bed of spring greens. What is unusual is the lip around the plate, an edge that contains the contents. This plate has many other applications and is a nice size to have around. (Food safe, lead-free, hand wash.)

Can ceramic tapas dishes be used in the microwave?

Yes, they can be microwaved for short periods. Like all ceramics, they retain heat and may become very hot to the touch, so use caution when removing them.

Are ceramic dishes dishwasher safe?

They are, but handwashing is recommended to preserve the finish and prevent wear over time. A gentle brush and sudsy water are ideal for cleaning.
