Ceramic Wine Chiller from Córdoba

Bring a splash of Andalucía to your table with this charming wine chiller, handmade and hand-painted in Córdoba. Fill it with ice to chill your favorite white wine, sherry or sparkling Cava. It also makes a memorable gift or wedding present.

We visited the workshop in the village of La Rambla, just south of Córdoba. It was inspiring to watch the artists painting each line and dash. The result is wonderfully rustic, with character that can only come from something made by hand.

The design is inspired by the traditional Spanish botijo water pitcher. Artisans at the Ivanros workshop add a large opening to hold any sized wine bottle, giving this centuries-old shape a new purpose. The opening looks a bit like a cheerful smile, adding even more charm to the piece.

It is dishwasher safe, but you may prefer to hand wash to prevent wear over time.
