Cinco Jotas Metaphorphosis Gift Set - FREE SHIPPING!

This deluxe gift box is a celebration of Spain’s finest culinary treasures, featuring Jamón Ibérico de Bellota—an acorn-fed, pasture raised ham from the prestigious Cinco Jotas brand. Known as Spain’s top-tier ham, it comes accompanied by a carving knife, serving tongs and a serving plate.

The whole jamón makes a stunning centerpiece for family gatherings or special occasions. Simply slice this exquisite meat thinly and serve it on a warm platter, paired with a glass of sparkling Cava or crisp sherry for an authentic Spanish experience.

Cinco Jotas Ibérico de Bellota meats are renowned for their exceptional quality and rich, nutty flavors. Sourced from 100% purebred Ibérico pigs—an exclusive breed native to Spain—these animals roam freely through the oak-filled dehesas of western Spain. During the autumn months, they feast on up to 20 pounds of sweet, antioxidant-rich acorns, known as bellotas, which imbue the meat with its distinctive, melt-in-your-mouth texture and deep, nutty flavor profile.

Your Cinco Jotas Jamón Ibérico de Bellota has been carefully aged for up to two years, allowing the acorn-infused fat to slowly melt away, leaving behind a beautifully marbled, deep red ham with golden veins of fat that enhance its flavor and tenderness.

Inside the luxurious gift box, your bone-in jamón is elegantly encased in a monogrammed cloth bag, while a profession-grade carving knife—designed for precision cutting—is included to help you serve perfect slices every time. Golden Cinco Jotas serving tongs and a golden Cinco Jotas serving plate complete the set.

Please note, a ham holder is not included, but we recommend using one to properly secure and slice your jamón.

For storage and slicing instructions for whole hams, see this page.

What is jamón?

Jamón is Spain’s prized slow-aged ham, known for its deep red color, firm texture, and rich flavor.

How should jamón be served?

Jamón should always be served at room temperature to enjoy its fullest flavor.

How do I store a whole bone-in jamón before slicing?

Keep it in the refrigerator in its original packaging for 2–3 months or until the best-by date.

What should I do before carving into a whole jamón?

A day or two before slicing, remove it from the packaging and let it sit uncut at room temperature on a ham holder or hang it using the rope provided.

Is mold on the exterior of the ham a concern?

Not at all—harmless white mold can appear on cured hams and may be removed with a cloth and olive oil.

What are the white crystals in jamón?

They are amino acids formed during the aging process—common in premium hams and cheeses—and are completely safe to eat.

How do I store my jamón after slicing?

Place it on a ham holder in a cool, dark place and store for 6 to 8 weeks. Cover the cut surface with reserved fat, wrap in plastic, and drape with a light breathable cloth.

Can I slice any section of the ham?

Only slice sections you plan to eat within a few days. Do not remove the fat or skin from unsliced parts—they protect the ham from drying out.

How do I store leftover chunks?

Chunks of ham can be tightly wrapped and kept in the refrigerator or freezer for longer-term storage.

How much sliced jamón does a whole ham yield?

This shoulder ham will yield approximately 4 to 5 pounds of slices.

How are perishable items shipped?

We ship refrigerated items in a recyclable cooler or insulated package with frozen ice packs to arrive in top condition.

How will my order be packed?
