Our friends at Tarongina take fresh oranges from Valencia and poach the peels in sugar, then coat them in rich dark chocolate. The bright citrus flavor balances perfectly with the bittersweet chocolate for a treat to remember!

Tarongina began a few years ago when Claudia Bosi was inspired to find a way to celebrate the vibrant influence of oranges on the history and culture of Spain. She was wandering through the town of Gandia and was overwhelmed by the oranges everywhere, filling the trees and even coating the ground at her feet. So she started Tarongina as a confectionary, sweets shop and museum celebrating the humble Valencian orange.

These chocolate covered orange peels are made in this small shop and packed by hand. We recommend that you store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh, if you don't eat them all the first time you open the jar!

These high quality chocolates have been tested and are well below the limits for substances with potential health concerns outlined in California’s stringent Prop65 requirements.
