These delicious potato chips marry the crisp texture and lively crunch of a Spanish chip with the wild aroma and flavor of Mediterranean herbs. Locally grown potatoes are thinly sliced before they are stirred by hand in the fryer in small batches. While they are still hot, sea salt and herbs - rosemary, thyme and oregano - are sprinkled over the chips.
These aromatic potato chips by Torres are flavorful enough to serve with a great glass of wine or your favorite microbrew. Offer them with tapas or your favorite grilled meat dish.
Manuel Torres and his wife Angeles Medel started a potato chip stand in Premià de Mar in 1969; the company has since grown to become the respected family business it is today. At its heart is a passion for using quality raw materials and caring for and respecting crops and sustainable development.
The most flavorful potatoes are selected from a few local farmers with whom the family has worked with for over 35 years. From harvesting through peeling, cutting, drying, salting and frying, these potato chips are differentiated by the old fashioned, handcrafted process that makes them so exceptional.
Potatoes, sunflower oil, salt, rosemary, thyme and oregano.
