Almond sesame seed brittle is a classic recipe, with a crisp, crunchy bite and full nutty flavor. Real orange blossom honey is heated and poured over whole Marconas, the queen of almonds. Sesame seeds are added to the mix as the honey solidifies around the nuts, creating a crunchy, wholesome sweet.

A similar candy is Turron Alicante, the most famous almond candy of Spain. But where Alicante uses egg whites to help solidify the honey, here the honey holds center stage, with only the help of a bit of cane sugar, creating a solid, almost clear, bond between the almonds and sesame seeds.  (more info)
