These buttery, tender habitas are sautéed lightly in olive oil. They are hand-harvested very early, so they have a fresh bright flavor and tender texture. This is one of the most sought after of Spanish legumes!
Gently warm the habitas beans in a pan with some diced Serrano ham for a delicious tapa that pleases the palate. Or sprinkle them on a fresh salad to add another level of flavor. We also like to toss them into fresh cooked pasta or mix them into a potato salad.
Once opened, keep your jar of habitas refrigerated. They can be kept unopened for months, but should be eaten within a week once opened.
Haba broad beans, olive oil, salt and citric acid as acidulant.
